School Terms and Conditions

We will supply your school with a “Megawatt Package” under the following terms.

The Megawatt Package
Your school will receive the following package of resources:

10 x Megawatt games
10 x Technology Factfiles
10 x Country Case Studies
Access to the online portal

The school’s point of contact will be provided with a username and password to access Megawatt’s online portal. On this portal, they will be able to access all our digital resources, which include training videos, lesson plans, slides, worksheets. They can also access digital versions of the Technology Factfiles and Country Case Studies.

Acceptable use
The Megawatt Package may be used by the participating school across any age group or subject. Teaching staff may use the resources for teaching purposes within the participating school only. Modifying the resources comprising the Megawatt Package will not be permitted.

Maintenance releases
CGCIC continuously update the digital and physical resources to be current and based on the latest data. Digital resources accessed through our Megawatt online portal will be maintained up to date and schools will be able to access these resources for the duration of the licence.

Technology Factfiles and Country Case Studies are updated annually. Schools may access these posters digitally. If schools would like the latest Technology Factfiles and Country Case Studies provided in a physical format, there is a charge of £129 to print and deliver the posters.

If the Megawatt games are damaged, lost, or schools would like additional copies, they may be purchased at a price of £35 per copy.

Licence term
Licence term shall be 12 months from date of delivery. The school will be able to retain the resources supplied beyond the licence term. Access to the digital portal will cease at the end of the term. A licence may be renewed for a further 12 months, at a cost of £99, thus resuming access to the digital resources.
